Modern Babylon is the first Muscle Horse release. It’s also the first in a hopefully regular series of cassette compilations featuring music made by London-based DIY punk bands.

The bands on the tape are: Satellites of Love, No, Woolf, Hunger, Good Throb, Domestic Blitz, Warm Ways, and Croup.

Each group plays a distinct style and each has contributed two songs, some new, some old, some unreleased, some live, some written and recorded especially for this release. Each tape comes in a 2-colour riso printed sleeve and 100% of the price goes towards fundraising for a new DIY space for London.
